Target Details

  • Target: Respiratory syncytial virus subgroup A G glycoprotein. Epitope is less defined. As well as ELISA the antibody binds the F (specifically the F1) polypeptide in Western blots. It also binds to the F polypeptide expressed in E. coli but not to any of a set of overlapping fragment of F similarly expressed.
  • Target background: RSV5A6 may be used for the detection of the fusion glycoprotein of HRSV of both sub-groups A and B.
