Product description: Helper-free packaging cell line developed by Morgenstern and Land in 1990 for safe, high-titre pBABE vector production. Features split gag-pol/env genes that minimise replication competent virus production, while producing consistent viral titers of 10^6-10^7 cfu/ml. Key component of the proven pBABE retroviral system for custom gene expression experiments. Use with any of the pBABE vectors (puro, neo, hygro and zeo) for complete retroviral gene delivery capabilities.
